Come experience magic and hypnotism in an intimate setting in New Albany, Indiana.  24 seats only in this very small theater in the back of J&B Magic Shop.  

Show will start promptly at 7pm and last about an hour.  We will meet in downtown NA for dinner/drinks before and/or after.  There is no alcohol available at/during this one hour show.  The RecBar in New Albany is scheduled to open in early February and is directly across the street, so if open, that would be a perfect spot to convene.   Pre and post gathering spot will be confirmed closer to the date.

Richard E. Darshwood's Mind Games is a whirlwind of interactive entertainment that will leave your head spinning. You might be tempted to think that this show is completely staged until you experience the thrilling effects of hypnosis for yourself. Try it out by volunteering to be in the act or join in the laughter as you witness the spellbinding effects that the power of suggestion can have on those that are adventurous enough to take part in the hypnotic high jinks and hilarity that arises. One way or another... You will become a believer!

Richard E. Darshwood is a highly charismatic performer who has baffled and amazed many notable celebrities such as film-maker Martin Scorsese, Grammy Winner Miranda Lambert, Super Bowl Champion Clay Matthews of the Green Bay Packers and many more with his delightfully animated personality, witty antics and clever tricks.

His natural ability to fully captivate every audience he encounters has earned him two consecutive People's Choice Awards from the Louisville,KY affiliated chapter of the International Brotherhood of Magicians/Society of American Magicians and is precisely why he is affectionately known as “The Charming Trickster.”

Also referred to as "The Whiskey Wizard", Darshwood is often found performing behind the bar and in the dining room of various establishments throughout the Southern Indiana and Louisville, KY areas and also hosts his own speakeasy themed magic dinner show and Bourbon tasting event called "Magic Dinner & Bourbon" known for its curious blend of spellbinding entertainment, fine food and drink.
